As the days grow longer and the Connecticut countryside turns green, there’s something special about the start of summer on the farm.
For generations, this property has been part of Cheshire’s story—a place where families gathered, traditions were celebrated, and memories were made. Today, as Kelly’s Farm begins its next chapter, we’re excited to welcome you along for the journey.
This summer looks a little different than summers past. Behind the scenes, we’re hard at work restoring and revitalizing the farm after the land sat unfarmed for the last two years. From rebuilding healthy soil to evaluating orchards and planning for future harvests, there is a great deal of work ahead. While much of that work may not be immediately visible, it is laying the foundation for the future of Kelly’s Farm.
As lifelong Cheshire residents, our family has long loved this property. Some of our favorite memories were made here, walking through the orchard with our children, enjoying the beauty of the changing seasons, and simply spending time together outdoors. Those experiences inspired us to become stewards of this historic farm and preserve it for future generations.
Our vision is simple: to create a place where families can gather, connect with agriculture, celebrate the seasons, and make memories of their own.
Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing updates from around the farm, stories from our restoration efforts, seasonal highlights, and a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to bring a historic property back to life.
